The Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation (BCIC) staff acts as administrative support to the Board of Directors in order to ensure the organization meets all strategic goals and mission. All employees are passionate individuals invested in seeing Brownsville, Texas flourish into a top regional competitor and strategic location for the state’s overall economic development plan. In addition, our staff is dedicated to work closely with non-profits and city departments on projects that will further enhance the quality of life in Brownsville, Texas.

As a “Type B” Economic Development Corporation, the BCIC has adopted a strategic plan that is tailored to make Brownsville, Texas a city-destination of choice for businesses, a leading economic development corporation in the state, and promote sports and recreational tourism to the city.

We continue to expand our reach and supplement Brownsville’s economic forefront for the benefit of our most important stakeholders: the residents of Brownsville, Texas.
